Please note, some agencies can also convert an L visa - tourist - to an F. Others can't.
Prices also vary whether you present in Beijing or Shanghai, or if you courier your passport and photo. Usually, it takes one to two weeks, and you pay after they show you - in person or a pdf emailed to you.
Prices may also vary according to your passport - US and UK citizens usually pay more.
Prices also change from day to day and week to week, depending on arrangements with government agencies.
When contacting an agency for a quote, let them know:
1. which country passport do you hold
2. Which kind visa do you hold
3. When is your last entry time
4. When will your visa be expired
5. How long will you want to extend and how many entrys will you want to have for the new visa.
