Feet hanging off the back of the train, head delirious from staying awake all night walking to the station, waiting for my train. The smile on my face is ear to ear.I know should sleep, but I don't want to miss a moment. Then its all over. Calls of "nong khai" ring through the train cars and its time to hobble off my hobo train.
Some where along the night I meet Kai. 40 something Thai women married to a young man from Holland.A few beers and a story or two from life and were good friends. She knocks on my door in early after noon declaring "its time to go ,  come on. "
The sites she puts before me are great , the company is warm and honest, and as usual the kindness of a stranger lights up my day. A ride on "the Boss" and were off to the Cowboy club.
Now I can't necessarily dance, but I can sure move around in funny ways in front of a woman. And Yourn has a smile that will keep you on your silly feet until they fall off or she gos home. Everything in me wants to go with her. But I've promised myself I was going to behave for a little while. Try and find myself rather than , well you know......
No sleep again, just woken dreams and a fan blowing hot stilted air. Time to pack up and walk on. Thailand lays at my heals and Laos creeps up over the bridge. The heat is to much. I have drop my bag when I see a row of garden sprinklers.Looking like a mix of a mad man and 3 year old child I dance in the sprinklers as the passing traffic looks on. .
Crazy? Don't mind if I do........
