Hello again!!

i have finished my training today and have a day off before actually starting on thursday which is exciting.  I've had one day off in which i just walked around Hamstead(the area Pax Lodge is located) and kind of found my way around with Katie - the groccery store, the bank, the post office and all that jazz.  I learned some interesting things too.  Mary Poppins was based in this area.  All of the houses are really huge and really old - and i guess it's a pretty ritzy area.  Katie and I went to Hamstead Heath and walked around(for all you mary poppins fans that's where the dad and the kids go to fly the kite!!)  cool huh?

Tomorrow, Megan and i are going to go out and about.  I have to get my oyster card which is my pass for the underground and then we're going to the V&A which is a museum that i have heard only good things about and...it's free.  which is awesome. 

I've decided that I want to visit Our Chalet while i am here as well.  Tickets are going to be so much less expensive from here and much shorter flight so i'll see when i can get that in.  oh and i want to see shows too...i don't know what yet, but i guess you can get farely cheap tickets to the theater to see musicals as well so that will be fun.  Oh i can't wait to start figuring out where everything is and what i actually want to do.  Ummm...i'm listening to a terrible radio station right now...oldies.  i have to go change that.  oops that was random, but then again i guess my specialty.  I can't ever figure out if i'm on the station i like again because all the announcers sound the same to me. 

that's about it for me.  My welcome ceromony was last night so i have just a couple pics from that and a few other random ones as well.  Hopefully an exciting update is coming soon!
