fall
fall

woah!! it's winter!

so we made it home safe and sound(just to reassure all of you dedicated, worried readers out there) and to tell you the truth...i'd rather be riding and sleeping in a tent.  oh man is it so much more simple- well not that we don't have simple lives as of now, but our lives on the road were so much more interesting really.

so as part as our infiltration back into society, we sleep in, sit around all day, and eat for the most part, but hey living in america is rough - really.  We spent the first couple days at brian's baby sitting chase, the puppy, and hoping for our bikes to make it safely back to pennsylvania.  When we had no luck with that we headed here to my house and were thrown right into the "line of duty" with full on child baby sitting shifts as soon as we got here.  needless to say, will is a little more high maintenence than the puppy, but somehow we survived...somehow.

My aunt kelly got here over the weekend and it's been even more of a madhouse than usual...just one more woman thrown into the mix, you can only imagine.  the last two days we've all been cleaning for my mom while the kids are at school and she's at work and then escaping for a little bit when everyone gets home(that's the loudest part of the day)

winter really has slapped us in the face.  Brian is still walking around in his sandals and yesterday i went for a run in shorts, only to find that it had started snowing before i left(man alive were my legs cold and i probably looked so stupid!)  Today we headed to the park and "tried to slackline.  ohhhh it was so cold.  we lasted for 20 minutes max, but brian got some cool pictures which inspired writing another blog...i did miss it.

it's cold out, but disreguarding the fact, brian, my little sister lydia, and i went out for ice cream tonight.  Brian has taken up a new hobby and is working on some knitting as of now and if any of you think that my mom has turned the heat up even the slightest little bit, you're crazy!!!
