Day 2 (September 1)
it was an early start at 3 am, but it was cold in Glendive and it had started to rain(of course I was on the side of the picnic table that was getting wet) We stopped to fill up on gas and I sure was glad that the cleark was crazy just becuase she didn't look at me like I was a complete nutcase as I drug all my tolietries to the bathroom. She even gave me a discount on my EXTRA large coffee! Yes! We stopped at a rest stop soon after we were in N. Dakota and napped and made breakfast before hitting the road again. North Dakata proved to be a complet bore and I can't really remember anything that happened....oh wait! nothing really did happen.
Minnesota: boring again with the occasional lake thrown into the scenery. There were more towns to drive through, but most of them had a population of less than 100. It was very very windy(which tore through our gas milage) and we were welcomed back to the eastern part of the country by some good old summer humidity. Being spoiled as both Brian and i were this summer with no humidity, we did our fair share of complaining and laughing at how crazy my hair had once again become with the weather change. We found ouselves a deal of a campsite with showers, historic points, and even its own zoo consisting of bison, peacocks, and golden pheasents!!
