The trip up was good, it was really sunny and our driver, Fly, was really nice and helpful and she got us all talking to each other. I had breakfast etc with Max and Hannah from the UK but we went our seperate ways once we got to Paihia. It was windy in Paihia which is apparently unusual and by the time we got on the boat it was grey, cloudy, foggy, cold and all the rest of it. We then had 4 hours on a boat in this weather and as the swell got bigger people were being sick left, right and centre. Nice. At one point it was so foggy we could barely even see the islands and then surprise surprise it rained.
The hole in the rock was pretty cool but at the end of the day it is literally just a hole in a rock. Unfortunately we saw no wildlife whatsoever and whoever said these islands are incredibly beautiful needs their head seeing to, although there were a couple of nice places. Waiheke was much better.
Oh yeah i nearly forgot i bumped into Lizzie in Paihia...as you do. Another Craig and Florida incident. So she came on the cruise as well.
I'm sure a lot more happened but right now i'm so knackered i can't remember it so i'll update at some point. Pictures of the islands and a very windswept me and Lizzie will be coming soon.

sorry i've not commented before now, but i have been reading all your entries, sounds like your having a great time! i'm down in england atm, head back today, was down the yard y'day and .... your horse went lame! think she's missing you!
