On Friday 13th June i decided to go to London on my lonesome for the day. To start the day i managed to get the only free seat in the train carriage which just happened to be next to some drunk guy, he had the beer cans lined up in front of him. He was randomly chatting to me about the difference between Salisbury and Basingstoke and how Basingstoke has such high buildings......

On arrival in London i went straight to Leicester Square to try and get tickets for Avenue Q but the seats were rubbish so instead i got one for We Will Rock You where i was sat 12 rows from the front. My ticket was just £31, down from £55. Bargain!

After that i just had a wander round the South Bank and on to Oxford Street for some shopping before heading over to Gay's the Word again. I took my own advice and didn't take the steps up from Russell Square station this time.

From there i got the tube to Tottenham Court Road before rush hour started and i just went shopping there until the show.

I went to the theatre early and the doors had already opened but i couldn't go in without buying something first, especially as they had ten times more merchandise this time than last time. I was gutted as Mazz Murray wasn't playing the Killer Queen that night and her understudy wasn't brilliant. However, that means i have a good excuse to go again, as if i needed an excuse.
