Our next stop was Russell Square in search of Gay's the Word bookshop. After getting off the tube the only way out was elevators or stairs, the elevator was taking an absolute age and there were loads of people waiting for it so despite being warned that there were 175 stairs we still decided to take them. If you ever happen to be at Russell Square take our advice and don't take the stairs! It was a killer and our legs and hearts took some time to return to normal. Let's say going down was 10 times easier.

Somehow we managed to walk past the shop going in one direction and just as we were giving up hope of finding it we found it. It was a pretty cool place and very friendly. Well worth the 175 steps...almost.
