Well i put the address on't interweb but not so many of you took our offer of digs and a free swim up.... saying that since i've been here we've had some rather great visitors, Aled (Barry's bro) came and stayed with his girfriend helen and in true style that my mum and auntie lynn would be proud of we stayed up drinking and chatting til the cows came home, Aled stayed for a good few days and was great to see him! A right laugh!

Then came Tomas, mr stagg with his mate phil, they have been travelling around Oz and called down between biking to say hi and stay for 2 nights, it was fantastic to see him but made me feel homesick as it just reminded me of all my mates who i'm missing bigtime back home... i didn't want him to leave. So they showed up late fir, we drank and chatted and then i worked with fish on't sat and they did a great ocean road trip and that night we went to a rather rubbish pub, which i enjoyed, it's defo the company that counts and then we haeded to ding dong and threw some rather great moves on the dance floor, we got back to the flat and i decieded to play a wee joke on young dave as he always gets me, i pretended that i'd lost our flat key, s dave was gonna go up the stairs and then the plan was to go to the flat and he gets up the stairs go he he, here it is and i finally got him back for his pranks but it didn't work that way as when he walked up the 11 flights of stairs he couldn't get on our floor so we couldn't surprise him by being in the flat..... oops! so he walked up and down 11 flihts of stairs, luckily he saw the funny side, that'll teach me to play pranks, so we got in about 5, i slept for 2 hours then woke tomas and phil up ha ha, to say goodbye! Thanks for coming to stay though guys, was brilliant to see you, even though it was a whirlwind trip! Bye bye guys.....

Then came............................................ my fantastic family visitors, My dad aka Fatman and me wee sis, well she's not so wee really, came and stayed, they arrived on 14th Feb and pushed the jetlag aside as we all wnet out with jamie and sian for a romantic meal at Daley at Chimmeys, delicous!
It was fantastic having them to stay, and finally i started to do some tourist type things with them, with jen and sin and my sis and dad, we went to st kilda and to acland atreet, the street of crazy cake shops and t my dad's delight they did chocolate cake and we made sure we were nicely filled full before we rolled ourselves out of the marvelous cake shop! we went to the nite market at Vic ,arket, it was ace a completly different market to what it is in the day and then we went to Supper Inn, and in true williams stylee ordered more than we could possibly eat and once again ended up rolling outselves out of another food establishment, whilst they were here i actually used our swimming pool - one of the main reasons we chose our pad! one of my best things i've done in melbourne by far was the Great Ocean Road, which we did whilst my dad and sis were here, we hired a rather sexy soft top audi, i'm not sur of it's type and on a rather beautifully sunny day we set off early wth the hood down and cruised from Melbourne to the twleve apostles, with a variety of adventure along the way!

My dad took the wheel for most the journey and the journey was smooth, but then he made the mistake of giving me the wheel and thus i gave everyone a little bout of carsickness, for the car we were in was a automatic so i kind on kangaroo hopped the car as i couldn't get my head around the no gears, apparently it's easier to drive an automatic, hhhhmmmmm i don't think so! Now, does anyone remember a tv programme called 'round the twist' well whilst on the trip we spotted the lighthouse from the show, we saw it froma distance and stopped to take pics of rather beautiful sealine and a cliff with a lighthouse gleeming at the top in the sun, we were on a cliffs edge and my dad, obviuosly the oldest so the most sensible seems to forgt how to read english and walks under a massive sign saying, no closer dnagerous cliff edge and walks under a rail to the cliff edge just to get some better shots... i have picture proof!

we then drove up close to the lighthouse singing the theme tune.... geeks.... 'have you ever, ever felt like this, when strange things happen, are you going round the twist!' took some pics and noticed that there is no way the lighthouse was lived in as it's only about 3metres wide, we then had a spot of lunch and started to realise that due to the sun and soft-top combo, we were becoming a nice shade of lobster... after a brilliant drive we finally made it to the twelve apostles which i think are actually the 8 apostles now as time has swept a few away but they still looked pretty amazing, so we took lots of pics and got set for the drive home and others prepared themselves for my driving and a touch of carsickness as it was my turn behind the wheel! what an amzing drive though!

The next day i was at the fish market so dad and bec's explored alone, it was ace having them here! That night we went to supper inn again, think my sis liked it more that 50cent and that;s really saying something, that night we had an early one for the next day we were off to Cairns for super suna nd yards of fun, but i'll do a sepaerate entry for that one as then i can put my pin in the map! x x x
