There are no words wisdom from Paul today but last night as he slept one of the 3 boys i live with they wish to remain un-named came up with this..... 'never judge a man by his flacid penis'..... sorry if that offended anyone, i just write down the wisdom thats uttered and i defo don't have the autority to question it!
Well i haven't been too good at doing the pod since i've been in't melbs but it would be like doing a travelpod whilst at home, all i do mostly is work and that is not so interesting to write about on a daily basis, but i'm gonna do a few entries today and get it all updated with some fun tales of some of the things i've been up to as tomo........... wait for it.......... yes tomo i leave this land of Oz for another that goes by the name of NZ, New Zealand - oooooooooooohh! I have one more sleep left and a massive bucket load of things to do! And i'm no where near packed!!!!!!!!
But, the big news right now is the fact i've changed my whole route of travels, i'm meant to be going New zealand - South america - Mexico - Home but.... I started to get scared of South America and doing it alone, for a start i'm pretty gullable... i once believed paul when he told me his mate took a bite out of cactus as he was thirsty, he even showed me the cactus and everything!!! hhhmmm, secondly, i think everyone is fantastic until they prove me wrong.... which is not the best attitude for the lone traveller, i should be a bit more weary of people and not so trusting but i find that hard and thirdly my spanish sucks! i can say about 3 things in spanish... 'augra sin gas' - water no fizz and to be honest that's about as far as my spanish goes and seens as all that's gonna do is keep me hydrated, i decided that maybe going to South Am alone wasn't the greatest or safest idea..... so i've changed me route!
After speaking to me old pal Naomi on the phone.... i met her in India and she's been living in Melb, when i update the pod today, they'll be a load of entries bout her and the other irish gals, well, i'll get back to the point, when speaking to Naomi she told me about her route, which is grand and means i'll have some friends to travel with for a wee while, nice one! So, i got meself off to quantas to see if was possible to change my flights, i'd only been in 5 days earlier as i realised that i'd missed my connection from Oz - NZ and in a panic, went in but they were cool and changed my dates, so i find myself back in again seeing if this new route is ossible and to my utter joy, it was, no more sleepless nights with fears of being attacked by south american pirates for now i've changed me plan's and i'm now travelling with Naomi, so from Nz i got to Fiji for 5 days and then fly into LA, then we me and Naomi make our way to Las Vegas, where we catch up with her canadian mate, i'm not sure of his name yet and the 3 of us are hiring a car and spending a few weeks driving through America to Canada, then when i get there i can meet my cousins, their wee babies and my unkey brian and auntie pauline, whcih will be fab! naomi then flies back to LA and i'm gonna hang around Canada for a while and then i have to make me way to mexico and have a few weeks there and then fly home, just in time for Miss Jam's birthday as my current home flight lands back on UK soil on the 30th of Oct! Saying all that though, i'm a tad gutted i'm not gonna see South America, but that is somewhere i can go and explore another day, maybe when i'm a bit wealthier and have learnt some spanish, so i have just put that trip on hold for a while but i WILL go back there, one day soon.... does anyone wanna come with?
So, it's my last day in Oz and i've been here for over 6months and am gonna be pretty sad to leave, especially leaving my job, which i'll tell you all about on another entry, i have whilst in Melbs finally found what i wanna do with this life of mine..... at last!
Well that's the big news for now and today i'm gonna pack, send stuff home and try and get this travelpod nicely updated! There may be a lot to read by the time i'm done! Enjoy.... hope you all had a good weekend! x x x
