Right, i'm determind to get this entry finished... First of HAAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLIE for the other day, i hopes you had MAGNIFICENTO birthday filled with plenty of marvellous things.

Right... so where was I??? That's it my turn to drive and seens as once many moons ago i had trouble trying to park a mini i was quite daunted at the idea at parking this beast of an automobile but, so far so good... I was driving on the rigt side of the road, stopping at junctions and didn't run a single red light.. all was good behind this big bad ass wheel.

The only problem was the indicator button was where we had our windscreen wiper buttons in the uk so for the 1st 2 hours or so of driving at every junction, i was slamming on the wipers and cleaning the windscreen rather than indicating my direction, but hey ho i got there in the end with all accidents avoided.

So, my 1st day behind the wheel we headed to Kiama to see.... wait for it..... the magnificant sight that is a........... blowhole!! The wonder of the blowhole was a tad short lived as we saw the wee hole in this rock splurt out a mass of water for the 1st time and then after the 5th time of seeing the same thing we had had enough of the blowhole, but i'm sure i have some wonderful photo's to put on me pod, when i get them done to show you how we drove for 3 hours solid, like driving from my house to manchester, just to see some water spurt from a hole, not sure dave was too impressed but i was pretty entertained for a while. After the excitement of the blowhole wore off (i think the word blowhole sounds a tad rude, but does make me giggle when i say it... tee hee) we walked around kiama and about a local town fete with cake stalls and other stalls bearing all kinds of delights... We did buy some fun for our time in the campervan, a mini travel draft and chess game set, i had no idea how to play chess, infact i still don't all i know is that if you win you shout 'check mate' but am not too sure why, so as you can tell not knowing how to play i didn't beat ex-chess club member dave at single game.... but one day i will.... oh yes.

So, we left kiama and the blowhole and headed a little more southward, me still taking charge of the wheel and both stinking from the night before we called campsites, we called and called and called... but no room.... anywhere! were we destined to sleep in a pile of our own stinking sweat again and wee into the p*ss bucket...?? Well, no we weren't actually we arrived in a strange place called Nowra, where the weee tourist info lady got us nothing less than a powered site at the next town and the place we arrived at was mint. A campsite in animal kingdom, we were surrpounded by all kinds of animals and it was a campsite in the bush. We had a wee woodburning bbq too, so after a well needed shower, some chickpea burgers and kanga bangers (yep kangaroo sausages, strange but scrummy) we had a game of chess, i lost... so we had another and i lost again... then we hit the hay. dave got up early to take some pics of the campsite wildlife... i'm sure they'll feature on his pretty amazing pod gallery soon!

It was a weird nights sleep full of weird and wonderful wild animal noises and the mossies were back in force, making their mark on my almost normal legs.... again. will my pegs ever be bite free... i feared not!

So, we packed up, filled the van with water and checked our oil like all good camper folk do and hit the open road for about 10mins to the next wee village... jervis bay! Where we were bound for a boat trip to see dolphins!

After my attempts in India on a dolphin hunt i was happy to see this was a big proper boat, with no sign of a leak or holes anywhere. But, this time would we see dolphins? or would it just be another boat trip???

Well that day... we were in luck, the boat didn't start to fill with water and we saw not only dolphins but some wee little penguins and seals too. BEAUTY! We saw plenty of dolphins, they were of the bottle nose variety and there were babies and mama's and papa's too, it was a pretty neat little trip... and i finally got to see them in the wild so i was dead chuffed.

we got back on dryland and with dave behind the wheel kept on going southward... we had soup for lunch as we decided on a soup diet to lose some of the pounds we had gained whilst travelling about, but the diet was short lived as in the next village was a rather cool little cake shop... yum! Milton, an oldy worldy little town was also home to a fishing shop where dave got a rod and tackle and i got a nifty little kite with an eagle on it, but i haven't put that to good use yet.

So... as we left Milton, the next question was... where will we sleep tonigt. we drove and drove and came accross a village by a river called Moruya, perfecto. A riverside sleeping view and a place for dave to fish and catch us some dinner. Well the dinner catching didn't go as planned but he did catch a few wee ones so was a good start. So, with a leftover kanga banga pasta sauce and a few games of cards we were sparko...

Once again, we awoke in a pile of our sweat, had a wet wipe wash with memories of glastobury flooding back and dave went for a early morning fish! Whilst like a right little campervan wife with the straw like campervan hair and a rather smelly odour cooked us up some brekkie, well poured some milk over some museli and piled on some low fat yoghurt... where would we end up today???
