Well today we said some big goodbyes to Goa, Inca man was a tad gutted as he been having a wee thiing with a lady called shimeera and he was not best impressed to leave, especially when i informed we off the dreaded Delhi! I will explain why i was dreading the place later!

Firstly, sorry i made you late for work Aunty Val, but i'm glad you are enjoying my pod, it's ace to know people are reading it and miss jam that will teach you to not check it everyday, ha ha ha!

Last night was our last one in Goa so we went for a spliffing meal, darling and totally blew the budget... (Jen, Sinead, Andy and Naomi my budget has gone pearshaped since you left! Oops! I need you back!) We went to a place called Pescardo in baga and it was heaven, no lie! check this, we had prawn stuffed pappadum, fish tikka, amazing green hot sauce (yum), mussel goan curry, prawn massala, rice, stuffed veg nan, x2 cokes and a feni cocktail.... and can anyone guess how much that little feast all came too? why, it was less that 8 whole pounds, unbelieveable and well worth busting the budget for the last night! After our fat biffa type tea we decided to brave mamboo's again, but i had one splitting headache, was not gonna let it ruin our last night so a couple of paracetmols, some eyeliner and sequinned hair band later and i'm ready with me bro (inca man is still with his lady at this point, he stayed in palolem the big tart!) for a night on the goan tiles!

We turn up at rather empty bar mamboo but are resured the by the bar man it will get chocca! a few rum and cokes later and i'd forgot about my headache and was enjoying the weird r'n'b house music (must have been those measures), then we notice behind us a lone travller sat on his own, he looked a tad like JG actually i had to double take, we thought of inviting him to join our party of two but when his tea arrived we left him too it!But then to his shock, you could tell by his eyes, he was joined by a good 4 or 5 towny type indians, the guy looked scared shitless, so we thought it was only good samaritan of us to see if he would like to sit with us, lets face it i will be that lone traveller in a few weeks and i hope i can rely on the pity of others!!!!! hooray, we had rescued a russian, our good karma was soaring and it wasn't our 1st good deed of the night, after 10 mins of conversation we reasiled that his english wasn't that hot and lets face it our russian was none exsistant! we spoke to our freindly barman who told us of a lone russian girl, the russian guy was really wanting to make a mate as was meant to be travelling with his mates but like you do they forgot about the indian visa needed to enter the country and were quikly deported! so, 2nd good need of the nite, we get the russian a girlf!

This was just the beggining of our night of weird and wonderful people, we then got joined by lina and an indian guy that she had pulled that night, he was football mad and seemed delighted to meet sean to discuss whatever it is boys talk about footballwise! Lina was the maddest sweede i ever met, she was massively fun, she didn't really like the indian and was kinda stuck in the deep end, as she was explaining the events of the night the indian guy to my shock, stood up and started grabbing his croutch and busting some full on michael jackson moves.... lina looked mortified, she then got grabbed and dragged onto the dance floor where her face was eaten and she was made to do some serious grinding poor girl! she kept returning to our table for a breath of fresh air every 5 mins or so, whenever she could escape!!!

We were then joined by cockeny bro's Paul and Tom, a wee bit older than us crazy kids and they were just in Goa on their hols, they were a good crack, Paul a year earlier had come out and become mates with an indian guy so brought him a scooter now a year on the guy has he own scooter business so we had a few with them and their indian mates, think paul's good deed kinda poop's on ours with the russian like! We also were drinking with a cool indian guy who we saw earileir that day whose name escapes me but we will be in sydney the same time, so will be grand to meet up, will see him there and the guys from the restuarant earlier plus regular visits from lina escaping her indian guy, so a full onlast night in goa party!

Then who should we come accross but the Farsley peeps, it really is a small world, this time i had stayed away from the feni shots so made more sense when talking to them, they are dead sound... Katie and Dean, so met some of there mates and it was pretty massive jolly old knees up! (katie's surname is brown and she knows tom and phil horner for all you leeds peeps that may know her!!) Sean met a coolio guy at the bar called ian, he lives 6 months in goa and 6 in cairo... he used to live in london, had a good job, mortgage and all that jazz and one day just packed it all in, he beamed he was that happy now! we have his email so am planning a trip to cairo, he would be a cool person to have show you round! Paul then turned into a massive idiot and felt the need to try it on, with me and lina, i was nice at first but then had to resort to the 'F' word, sorry mum, to get rid og his slimey cockeney ass! luckily farsley katie and dean came to the rescue and we said goodbye and went a diffrent bar with them and the cool indian guys, time had flown it was 5am at this point and i was struggling to drink anymore rum's and cokes and was all laughed out,was a fun night. so we said bye to the guy's and farsley katie and dean (was beauty meeting you guys and i hope to see you for few on town street when i get back in the uk!!! will mail soon)and we got our 'dirty stop out' ass's to bed... what a way to say turrah to goa!

after a wee lie in we got up and hauled our tired bodies with backpacks to the cake shop over the road, where we sat for 3 whole hours eating a scrummy cake, malibu and chocalate cake, best hangover and tiredness cure ever invented.... we did some shopping yes, with the backpacks for i have the strengh of ten men now... and then haggled a taxi to the airport! so, i have to admit it, cos i am with my bro i have taken on the life of his champagne backpacking and we are flying to delhi but i may add not at an expense! Nope, sean had booked us on the indian version of easyjet and if i'm honest i feared for my life... was having visions of seats in cargo class, with cow's in 1st class and us in cages or rolled up labelled and put in haulage, oe seats that just weren't nailed to the ground....! but i was soon to be put wrong a two hour delay and we're winging our way to delhi with only 3 days left in india now! doesn't time fly!!!???!!!

I was now, with my fears of spice airlines (the airline that no indians had ever heard of) out the way starting to remember the scary tales i was told of delhi, tales of stolen luggage, rogues, theives, taxi drivers that charged you triple or beat you up and that basically everyone had said do not trust anyone, the taxi's will drop you in the middle of no-where and evreyone will lie like tinkers to get your hard earned dough... so i was feeling a tad on edge as we retireved our bags and got the pre-paid taxi to the hotel... the hotel the taxi driver had never heard of and turned round asking us for directios, what a joke!!!!!??!!

We were watching in fear as he drove down dark streets and seemed to be honest pretty lost but he then put his brain into gear and asked directions, we felt at ease now, he was actually gonna take us to the hotel... phew! we arrived all good, we like the hotel jen and sinead, good recommendation! ta! the peep's here are grand, we had the indian version of manwell getting us our dinner and he was superb entertainment, everyone we have met in delhi so far has been fab! it's a good place man, and i can say it pretty proudly me and me bro, we quite like Delhi!

So in true champagne backpackers stylee, cos sean refuses to get the public transport and we only have 3 more days as a treat for his scummy real life backpacking sis, sean has booked us a driver with abyss cars (again jan and sinead, ta for the tipp of!) we are getting picked up tomo at 8am, of to the almighty Taj (can't wait) a night there, then on to Jaipur, a nite there then back to delhi for a tour round then our plane to Banggkok, and he bartered one good deal, i think the lot is costing 100 pounds, with hotels, food, tours and our own driver.... nice one and thanks bro, but i hope you realise that from tues we are backpacking for real, no more of this champagne lifestyle it'll be lambrini and a bus old boy!

Am very excited about the Taj, not sure am gonna sleep tonight but i will let you know how the next few days pan out... until then i'm off to sleep for our driver arrives at 8am (what what what!) and i still need to finish my caviar! tee hee! have a fab weekedn all of you! big love from india's capital coming straight at you....mwah! x x x
