The local transportation here is interesting--if it is full inside luggage, people, even animals are piled on top of the bus.

Pokhara is a beautiful, peaceful lakeside town with amazing views of the Annapurna circuit of the Himalayas. In the morning Sarah (another traveler I met on the bus on the way to Pokhara) and I went up to Sarangkot to watch the sunrise and light up the Annapurnas. There were some low lying clouds, but unobstructed views of the mountains--finally, my first time since I had been in Nepal!

After that we headed to the other side of the lake and visited Devi Falls before hiking up to the World Peace Pagoda.

Once we got up to the pagoda all the clouds had burned off and we had incredible views of the mountains, lake and town.

Heading back down we got to see a local taking an nap and had some nice views of the lake at the bottom of the trail.
