Flew into Victoria Falls to see the falls and have a few days of adreline rush white water rafting, bungi jumping, gorge swinging, repeling, etc. I started it off with an evening river cruise where we were hoping to see some wildlife. After we saw one hippo it started to pour. It was about a 3 hour trip, and all the drinks were included so once it started raining, it turned into a booze cruise--nothing wrong with that!

I saw the falls from the Zimbabwe side and got completely drenched from the spray, but it was beautiful! When there is a full moon you can see a rainbow at night if it is clear in the spray. I went there during the full moon, unfortunately it rained every night.

I spent a day white water rafting on the Zambezi River between Zimbabwe and Zambia. It was the first time I had ever done it and it was a blast! We got in the river right at the base of the falls. The morning was all really big rapids, class 4 and 5. After lunch the rapids were smaller, but floating down the river between the rapids was so relaxing and beautiful views. We had to drive back in this huge 4-wheel truck with tires almost as tall as I am. The roads were almost impassable. We drove past several villages--amazing to see people still living in grass huts. The ride back on those roads was almost as exciting as the rafting!
