I had some time between Bali and the Olympics and have been very curious about the Perhentian Islands so it seemed like the perfect time to go. What made it even more perfect was that my die hard travel buddy, Sarah, who I met on a bus in Nepal and have met up with several more times here and there is now a dive master there! She is working on Long Beach on the small island so I headed straight there.

I had a fantastic time catching up with Sarah, diving with her, and enjoying evenings with her and her friends living there and passing through...
