My Friend Abby

Man Abby's cool. We met down in Cape Town and instantly became good friends. She lived in Uganda for about 7 months and we met while she was on holiday for 2 weeks before starting school with an American Study abroad group down in Stellenbosh, South Africa. I stopped over to visit her before making my way up the coast. I wanted to make sure she was doing A O. K. getting settled in and all plus I just missed good ol Abby! She was stocked to see me and I had a real nice time meeting all of her new American friends. It was just a quick overnight slumber party, but I convinced Abby to come back to Cape Town for one last weekend.
And as for Stellenbosh:
It was really beautiful! The city (at one time one of the first South African settlements) had huge wide streets lined on both side by oak trees. A lot of old colonial architecture and the near by wineries made it a cheap night out and a relaxing stroll in the vineyard the following day. More thumbnails ...
