Glasgow university is beautiful, its Harry potter's Hogwarts in a city centre atmosphere. I spent my two gays in Glasgow pretending i was a student there. Most of my time was spent soaking up the free internet, trying to look camouflaged with the students in the computer lab. I laid out under the sun on the grassy hills out front of their castle like school. I enjoyed inexpensive sandwiches from the Delhi stand in the food court and in the library I hid behind text books in awe of the high ceilings and ancient books neatly lining each room wall to wall, trying to imagine how it would feel to be a student at a school like that. The rest of Glasgow city looked a bit dirty and impersonal. I admit I didn't make that much of an effort to interact with the locals, walking the streets with my headset but regardless everyone seemed busy all the time. There are too many take out only restaurants with no where to sit for a while. It was a whole other life than Spain with its mid day siesta's, you could disappear into thin air in a place like that.
