Crossed another border today. Unfortunately not getting any passport stamps as within Europe they do not seem to worry about moving between countries by train, apart from Bosnia when we left Dubrovnik by bus for Split. Went for a walk across the water, which is always so clean and clear plus flowing quite fast here in Switzerland. Found the famous flower clock and water fountains, one in the park and the jet one in the lake. Walked through old Geneva's cobbled lanes and lots of art and antique shops. Plus went through the archeological ruins under the St Pierre Cathedral. So interesting as there has been many different types of churches just built on the same sight over the centuries since 4BC. Had lunch in a famous chocolatier cafe. No not only chocolate for lunch. Had a yummy salmon and spinach quiche with a hot chocolate and of course bought some truffles to take on my train ride. Thought I'd better indulge for the last time on Swiss chocolate. Really would have liked more but had come to the end of my Swiss Francs so that was most probably a good thing. Switzerland is quite an expensive country to live in. Back to using Euros again till the end of the week then it's English pounds and then American $s. Saw on Facebook the other day that the new iphone 5 is going to cost 199US but 799AUS so might get myself a new phone while in the US as mine is due for a new contract anyway.
