Okay, before I enter this travelogue, it's that moment you've all been waiting for...
COMPETITION TIME!
If anyone can tell me what the orange warning light that keeps coming on in the Silver Bullet MK2, every time you turn right, they will win a MyStErY pRiZe! (Personally I think it's something to do with the hyperdrive... or maybe Giggsy atrocious driving!)

At last, WE HAVE WORK! But not just any work -- I'm talking INDUSTRIAL WORK! Work that pays 10 shillings an hour! Which means if I work for another 3 years here at this rate, I'll have enough money for 3 days snowboarding in Queenstown! YI-PEE!
The first job, Barry Chuckle and I worked together taking down stands and displays from a corporate event. Simple work, but I was getting seriously worried about Giggsy's state of mind that night; he was literally walking into walls because he couldn't operate without a beer inside him... Then the next day, I was sent to work at Shape Technology and asked to report to Brent

"That machine operates our spray system. I'm glad you asked because it's really quite interesting; essentially the spray system is to apply zone cooling to the work rolls to remove residual flatness errors and to control the bulk temperature of the mill during the rolling process. This is achieved by pulsing the coolant through individual valves matched to each zone to control the thermal profile of the work rolls. The system is designed to provide coolant to the mill rolls in the optimum quantities and pattern to achieve effective and efficient roll thermal control... ROB!?"

Anyway, I ended up working there for over a week, doing the night shift with all the other losers. It was really, really, really mundane work. Basically my tasks ranged from sanding down different metal components to putting little studs in different metal components. There seemed to be a lot of metal components lying around. I think this factory was a starting block for many a metal-based products from pencil sharpeners to nuclear submarines. Anyway, all I can tell you is after a week in that place and doing nothing much else...
