FIJI (where the weather will mostly be hot and shitty)
Bit board as I write this, and hungover. I thought Fiji would be like the Cook Islands, but it's not. It's huge in comparison. Also, it seems really hard to get around -- no hiring of mopeds around here! Anyway, when we flew in we were mullered from the night before and couldn't be bothered to book anything -- plus everything seemed really expensive. Then the next day, pretty much the same thing happened... and that was that -- we had missed the boat for doing anything because we only had 3 and a half days left, but all the trips were for 4-5 days. We did, however, manage to go to Robinson Crusoe island for a night, which was pretty cool. Had some carva, the local welcoming brew, which looks like muddy water and, well, tastes like muddy water. Also, went on the rings and tried to do water skiing, which was a big mistake... I'm still in pain now two days later. Had a massive piss up with some people from the hostel last night, which was good, I think. And aside from the many games of table tennis, cards, pool we played at the hostel -- we did pretty much F**K ALL! Anyway, better finish this because we need to get to the airport and catch a plane to New Zealand... YIPPEE!
