Italy was a fabulous country to visit. We loved Florence with, once again, itīs windy streets and friendly people. They had some great markets here too. From here we took a day trip into Pisa and saw the leaning tower! You canīt know how falling over it is until you actually see it! We sure had fun taking pictures here.

However, venice was by far my favorite city. Do you want to hear a crazy story of coincidence? OK. We were staying at a campsite just outside of Venice, and we were walking to the bus stop across the road, and standing there were 2 people we recognized from Whitehorse!!! They recognized us too, and asked us if we were from the Yukon and we said yes! It was Katy Hill and Taylor Love, they both graduated last year from PC. I went to elementary school with Taylor, and Jennifer did 4H with Katy. Well, we hit it off right away and ended up hanging out with them the whole day in Venice. We talked lots of home and how wierd it would be going back and stuff. They were so fun to spend time with! The 4 of us rode in a gondola and saw all the gorgeous builidings along the Grand Canal in Venice. We stood in the main square and got swarmed by pidgeons! They were so fat, but managed to fly up onto our heads surprisingly! It was a fantastic day. You should visist Venice one day cause itīs one of a kind.
