Well, our time in Hungary has come to close. It is with sad hearts that we say goodbye. We have really grown to love it.
We have spent the last two weeks relaxing. Miskolc is very nice and quiet. We explored downtown, went to a few movies, and spent some time in the mall. We also took a few good day trips to nearby villages. Our first was to Satoraljaujhay. (It took us a whole day there just to learn how to pronounce it.) It was very cute and right on the border of Slovakia. If you crossed the creek on the side of town you were in a new country!
For the last week we have had a friend, Amy, staying with us. She is an American (from Seattle) and backpacking for a year. We met her in Belgium and now she happened to be in Hungary while we were here so we met up
On our last day in Hungary, Erika's brother, Sandor took us out. He is a park ranger so we got to go off roading in his Land Rover. It was so much fun! (Yes boys, you can all be jealous now.) The park that he is in charge of has a lot of caves and he has access to them all. He took us on our own personal tour of a few of them. It was so amazingly gorgeous. It felt like we were underwater because the dropstones looked like coral. It's so different from anything you'd ever see above ground!
Thank you to all our Hungarian friends who helped us out while we were here. And a big thank you to the Rozsas for the apartment.
We are sad to say goodbye Hungary. We had to say good bye to Amy also. We also must say goodbye to everything we love about Hungary; cheep chocolate bars, cute guys, and our little apartment. We will miss you.

At the festival!

I'm SO jealous! (Mally)
Sweet description of the four by fouring! Matt wants to know what the cylinders were like. I (Holly) would like to know what the cute boys were like. Matt also wants to know if you met the Berenstein Bears in the caves. That must've been hard saying all those goodbyes... But hopefully you'll get to say a lot of hello's in the next few days. A big thanks to you for updating your blog. I just thought you should know that I had my teeth cleaned at the dentist today. But now they feel cold without that extra layer of plaque. Matt is proud to anounce that he did not perform a single oil change today. We're having a housewarming party for him, Mark, and John on Thursday to celebrate their moving in to a new apartment. We really miss you here in Whitehorse and are already counting down the days to your return.
Peace out,
Mally dawg.

Hi Mally,
Thanks for your very entertaining post. It made me laugh out loud at the internet cafe. (I got some weird looks from the guy beside me but it was worth it.)
Gwen and I want to go 4x4ing this summer now! Are you guys up for that?
Dont have too much fun back in Whitehorse without us. We miss yah all,
Jen (and Gwen)
