We celebrated St. Patrick's Day last night by hitting not one but three bars in Queenstown. Nothing like a Family Pub Crawl to celebrate a holiday.
It's rained every day of the week we've been here and is absolutely pouring right now. Good thing we're of hearty northwestern stock and are mostly unflappable. Though it would be nice to get a nice clear glimpse of the amazing Alps ... so far we're making due with pictures. This afternoon Alex will be bungy jumping off a bridge; the original bungy jump site. We're also going to try to go to Deer Park Heights, where a bunch of footage for Rohan was filmed for LOTR: The Two Towers. It's my favorite scenery in all 3 movies. (I know, family geek alert!)
