Krakow looks almost exactly like Lviv but with cleaner streets and a big river (Vistula) with lots of bridges.

It's the second time we in this city and this visit is different. My cuisine Martin who studies in Krakow generously agreed to be our guide. So we went to Kazimierz district mostly for the purpose of getting acquainted with famous Kazimierz pubs ;) And there are plenty of them there and almost each of them looks very nice with its own feature. We chose "Mleczarnia": a very cozy and romantic place with lots of old photo-portraits on overly-aged walls and which had nothing to do with milk actually :)

One more funny thing we noticed in Kazimierz. If you happen to know the phenomenon of “Kyivska Perepichka” on the corner of Khmelnytskogo Str. and Khreshchatyk in Kyiv, then you should know that there’s always (and it’s been so in all times, since the ending of WWII at least) a crowd of people standing next to a little window wanting to purchase some doubtfully-looking pies. There’s the same thing in Krakow. They sell “zapiekanky” at Novy Plac. But the long “kolejka” of people is standing just only to one little window of many because all these people for many years know that this baker makes the best “zapiekanky” in Krakow. The crowd near that little window didn’t dissolve even in later night when we finally went back to our hostel. And it’s been like this for many years :)
