Meeting with Budweis started with a visit to its famous factory (no, not the world-famous Koh-I-Noor factory, the other one). Then we moved to the city center. The Otakar square is one of the largest in Bohemia and is decorated by the beautiful Samson's fountain and houses which (due to several great fires in the history of the city) represent different styles: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. Climbing up the Black Tower is a must: not only the city of Budweis lies on your hand, but also our next direction (which was in almost 30km) was visible from these 72 meters above the ground.
