This is the place where I'd like to come for a rest when I’m 64. It’s quite and beautiful, despite hordes of Russian and Vietnamese (sic!) tourists. You can drink mineral water from famous Karlsbad springs right on streets in beautiful moderne pavilions. Liquor named after its inventor - Jan Becher - and famous Kralovske Oplatky (waffles) are obligatory :)

The image of an ideal resort is topped by splendid views from the riverside, ducks and salmons lurking under bridges, palms near breathtaking baroque colonnade.

So everything that we heard about Karlsbad (good and bad) is true but nevertheless this place is a gorgeous archetypical resort.
