Travelling back to Asia from Europe inevitably causes you to lose a whole day. The flight for us from Barcelona was 13 hours and there is a 7 hour time difference so 'poof' a whole day goes by without you getting to do very much.
We checked out of our hotel in Barcelona, the Tryp, pretty early. Maggie had slept soundly during the night and as a result we were all set to go. Our flight took us from Barcelona to Milan and then on to Singapore.
It was great being back on Singapore Airlines. It really is the best airline I think. I had the chance to watch three movies, listen to heaps of music and see four different TV shows. Plus rad my book. Three nice meals and I can honestly say I had a great time! Not bad for a flight that has you shackled to you seat for hours on end. The girls, as usual, were marvelous travellers. They napped, watched movies, and had a great time too.
