Getting to know Prague slowly

I wanted to approach Prague slowly. We have six days here so there is no need to rush things. On our first full day here we had nothing planned. We spent the day wandering the alleyways that lead off the main square, trying out a couple of the cafés (really escaping from the cold). The top temperature for the day was -3. No snow though.
My ears keep getting cold so I had my heart set on one of those Russian style hats with the side flaps. We found a shop that had a whole range of them and I ended up choosing one that is more of an aviator hat. It's made of sheepskin and keeps my ears warm now. Jess found a Thai massage centre for me so we went in and I had a massage which was very nice. It almost got me out of the bad mood I was in all day, but not quite. While we couldn't really say we 'did' anything today we got to know the city a bit better. No need to rush things. We stopped in at a supermarket on the way home and bought some provisions. We came back to the apartment and Cameron made us all croissants with ham and cheese. Delicious. Oh, and we found some cheapo 2 minute noodles in the supermarket. The kids had been craving these so we had them too. Not so delicious.
