Hola!

First of all, happy birthday Joe, have a good one, and happy belated birthday to my beautiful neice, Daisy!
And keeping with in the theme of birthdays, Fee had a great one in Santiago. She usually moans that its far too close to New Year for anyone to make a fuss about her but as usual I tried! I got up at 7.30am to go buy some candles and a cake from the local supermarket so I could wake her up singing "happy birthday", romantic aye! Fee thanks everyone who sent her best wishes, she was stoked!
For her birthday pressie I gave her a walking tour of Santiago and then a ride up a funicular on the side of one of the many mountains. The views were amazing! Then for dinner, we went to a lovely restaurant in the bohemian part of town and had our first Pisco Sours, yummy brandy based kinda cocktails. Fee then got a special drink because it was her birthday and continued to order us double tequila shots as a result of her drunkeness! (see pics!)
Yesterday was amazing, we went to Concha Y Toro, one of the finest vineyards in the world, home to our favourite wine, Cassillero Del Diablo where we actually got to go down into the Devils Cellar itself!! it was fantastic!! 

Anyway, time to leave Santiago and head up north to a beautiful beach town, La Serena. Its only 7hrs on a bus, ha! So time to go surf and soak up some sun!

Happy New Year + happy belated birthday to Fee, sounds like it was a good one.... We had a great New Year in Morocco, but only 6 days..
It was great to see you both in Liverpool at Christmas. Enjoy yourselves.. you lucky duo
