One of the most peaceful and beautiful places i have ever been. The weather was stunning and the tiny town of Wanaka was pretty quiet. We managed to hitch from Queenstown to Wanaka with some girls we met who were down from Christchurch for the weekend.
We spent a night there and just chilled out, it is a very laid back place and we stayed in a hostel with a massive fire and views over the lake and mountains behind.
