Wiped the frost off the mules's saddle and rode 630km South to 28C.  We didn't pull off our warm clothes until 1.5 hr North of Vegas.  Saw our first rattlesnake (flat on the road), our first cacti and last but not least, our first Elvis sighting. Not anticipating seeing penguins for a while.  After 19 years since our last visit to Vegas, we did what everyone said we would...not recognize the place.

Be Safe
Hey there Cher!! Be safe and drive careful. If you are stopping by Vegas for a few nights; stop by 'Miricle Mall' in Planet Hollywood Casino and look for Chico's (a ladies shop). My childhood girlfriend works there. I am planning on a week in January 2008 to visit her. She usually works evenings. Stop by if you have time and give her a hug for me. Luv ya!!

Penguin sighting and an Elvis sighting all in the same week? This Elvis kinda looked like a relative of the penguin??
