La Serena is famous for its clear skies and its observatories that are near Vicuņa. I already was amazed at how clear the sky was and at how many stars you could see in San Pedro de Atacama. Reasons enough to pay a visit and even the guy from the tour has promised to get me a pisco at the end of the tour. This area is also home of the best grapes of chili's national beverage. Again i come very close to the place where i had my last near death experience ;-), but unfortunatelly the water is to cold to face the danger again ;-)

Tuna is a cactus sort that you can eat and is so far my favourite chilean fruit.

Gestern hat mich eine alte Zigeunerin uebers Ohr gehauen, ich glaube auch dass sie mich verflucht hat, wir werden sehen. ich jedenfalls war froh ein paar spanische schimpfwoerter zu benutzen, obwohl ich selber dumm genug war auf sie reinzufallen. Ich wollte doch nur ein eis essen ;-) --> lustige geschichte, wird bei gelegenheit persoenlich erzaehlt.
