the unknown serbian adventure
Entry 11 of 30 | show all | print this entry |
This is a short one... but I got a Serbian passport stamp, so I feel like I deserve to count it on my list of countries, which should make my total still be 12 at the end, despite dropping Romania from the queue. The mountains were beautiful, anyway, as we drove past.
Oh, and when we stopped at a rest area somewhere in Serbia (no longer 'Serbia and Montenegro', no matter what the country list on my log says) I got some money from the ATM, thinking we were in Bulgaria, since we passed a pretty intense border.
Quite a few hours later, I discover that the money I received was Serbian Dinar, and is useless to me, except to exchange at a 1-2% loss. Luckily, my 2000 dinar withdrawl is only $30 USD, apparently.
