I went to Monterey Bay today, which is south of San Francisco along the Pacific Ocean.
The City of Monterey has a lot of historical places to see including Cannery Row. Cannery Row was once a place that canned sardines but now consist of lots of specialty shops and restaurants. It also has a Aquarium and lots of great scenery of the mountains and beaches.
I stopped on the way back in Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz main attraction is the Boardwalk with an Amusement park and Arcade. This is a good place for families to visit.
Santa Cruz also has a lot of beautiful buildings, upscale homes and historical Victorian homes.
Tomorrow I will spend time repacking everything so that I will be all set to leave again on Saturday. I will be going south to Yosemite and Sequoia National Park.
Sequoia is one place I am really looking forward too. My mom posted a comment that I should have gone further north to see the "Big Trees" but I had already planned on Sequoia which has the "Big Trees" that are larger then the ones up north.
