From Hamilton: We arrived at the international airport in Mumbia approaching ten at night. The flight was long (14.5 hours) but uneventful. Our flight path from Newark started north up along the Canadian coast, then eastward toward Iceland and Norway, then arcing southward down into Russia, some Baltic states, Afganistan, Pakistan, and finally India. Customs was not much of a hassle, but it took quite a while to find our baggage, exchange a little money, then finally emerge from the airport to find our Rotary District 3060 member greeters. After a walk to the cars with luggage in tow, and an exciting ride through the traffic jungle of Mumbai, the team arrived at our hotel for the night. All the team members reported somewhat sleepless nights due to jet lag, except Jeffrey, who slept quite soundly. More later...
