Hello! My name is Jessica Nixon and I'm so excitied to begin this incredible journey. India has always been on my list of "must sees." I'm particularly excited about learning about our host families lives and interests. I also look forward to visiting the Rotary project sites such as hospitals and schools, as well as Gandhi's ashram,  and the temple caves. Thank you to all who are making this happen!!!!

Currently, I am the staff director at Rockbrook Camp for Girls in Brevard, NC. My diverse duties include recruiting and training our camp counselors as well as occasionally leading outdoor trips, talking with homesick campers, basically contributing in any way I can. You can check out the website here . We offer girls ages 6 to 16 a wide range  of activities such as horseback riding, arts and crafts, archery, sports and outdoor activities like rock climbing and whitewater rafting.

During my time-off, I enjoy being outside myself by biking, hiking and currently frequenting our nearby hot springs! I also practice yoga and recently completed a teacher training.
