Tim's entry says it all really.......a relatively incident-free flight until Vegas, where my bag was left behind.  Apparently "seen" in LA, it was to arrive in Vegas on a later flight in the afternoon.  With that sorted, and with new friends met, we departed the airport and checked in to the hotel.  A bit of shut-eye for some, a swim for others, TV, and general relaxation!  Ordered room service tea before cleaning ourselves up and heading to the "strip".

Wow......so much to look at, to see, to do!!  We wandered aimlessly at times....although at others, lead by previous Vegas visitor Narelle.  I had been here in 04, although changes have been made and still many different and new things to see!  Visited a very interesting bar in New York New York, "Coyote Ugly", to perhaps see what we thought would be full-on dancing on the bar-like action just like in the movie, and to quench our thirsts.....a couple of drinks later, not much bar dancing but a few laughs later, we headed off to see what else we could find on the strip......and nothing was left to the imagination Welcome party by District 5300

!  Think I'll leave it at that....!!

Luciens' desire to play the black jack table didnt get the better of him, so he came home with us.  Thankfully, my backpack had arrived, so after a warm complimentary choc chip cookie, we headed off to phonecalls, emails and bed.  We are going to have a well-deserved rest after the long flight and our very own groundhog day of re-living Saturday the 29th March....34 or so hours have passed since my departure from Kyabram this morning (or was that yesterday morning??) and after only 2-3 hours of shut-eye, sleep is calling......off to nonnies land to wake up refreshed for the full-on adventure that is to come.  Looking forward to the welcome party and relaxing by the pool at local Rotarian John and Amy's tomorrow afternoon before starting some vocational work Monday!

Stay tuned....
