Day 20 - Marco

Last day in Bucharest.
After breakfast on Sunday morning, we took  a sightseeing tour of the city with lovely Camelia.

The eclectic French architecture of central Bucharest and the following visit to the Palace didn't provide us the expected aesthetic shock, neither a comprehensive insight into the recent history and Romania's communist regime, since the queue for entering was too long, and we opted for a nice alongside walk from the outside.

After lunch in trattoria del Calicio restaurant, our favourite place in the Capital (?) Lorenzo the Great (our driver), together with Camelia took us to the Airport on the way to the palace

Bucarest-Otopeni to Oradea 1 hour on time.
At the arrival, Calin and Oscar (Rotary Marghita President) were waiting for us. Fantastic and warm welcome (Oonagh even got some flowers!!).

A red Rotary Marghita Bus drove us for 45 minutes to Marghita to our Host families:

Marco is hosted by Marcel and Ildiko, owners of the biggest Dacia garage of the Marghita area,

Mike is Hosted by Calin and Family

Adrian is Hosted by Oscar, the president

Oonagh is hosted by Brenda, American head of a children house in Marghita.

Time to go to bed...
