Hello hello, here I go again! Its exactly a week to go and I'm now starting to get very excited. Finished work last Friday after 7 years and had some amazing leaving presents, and of course the obligatory few drinks afterwords. Saturday I was feeling rather under the weather to put it mildly, walked to the co-op and back, was the height of my activity that day. I have spent the last couple of days gathering my things together and meeting up with people before I go. Tomorrow I'm back home to the Emerald Isle to see my family and to see my best friend strutt her way up the aisle to get hitched. Now doubt there will be a few pints of the creamy black stuff had to celebrate. I'm then back in the UK next Monday, staying over in Marks and then its off to Rio on Tuesday lunch time via Atlanta. The journey begins then.. Hope to enter more before I go.

There is quite a sombre atmosphere in the flat this evening. We miss you already! Enjoy the wedding and being at home with your mates. I look forward to reading all of your travel postings.

One week gone since you left my side, but coping well :) Have taken on all your responsibilities so have plenty of time on my hands!!!
