Bondi Beach Explorer

We had an early start on Monday, on the Bondi explorer and were on our way to Bondi beach by 1pm.
We drove past our holiday apartments on the way down to the beach. We passed the Sydney cricket and football grounds on the way down to the most famous of all Aussie beaches. The last time I was there it was a ten thousand seater beach volleyball stadium, this time there were a few 100 Asian tourists, fully clothed, wading in the water and having there picture taken. I got my feet in the famous sand again, but Jules and dad were not so adventurous (!?) Dad sat on an esplanade bench and surveyed the nutty tourists, while Jules walked with me in her slops, ag sies!
We watched some people learning to surf and had a good laugh, and then it was off to rose bay, Double Bay and finally back to central station. We headed back home to rest dad's weary feet and I tried out an Aussie recipe for a rack of lamb. It was a lamb rack with balsamic and fresh mint vinaigrette, with butternut, roasted veggies and roast potatoes. Coffee and off to bed. More thumbnails ...

Gee whiskers Greg, I sure hope that you are going to make some of these absolutely delicious sounding dishes for us when you get back to SA??? Your meals sound as though you are at a 5***** restaurant! Enjoy!
Love to you and Jules
