After our rapid tour of Madrid it was a short flight to Genoa. A short ride in a taxi and we were at our B&B. Here we received a bit of a shock. A 10 minute cab ride cost us $55.00. I didnt read the fine print that Italians double the cab charge after 10.00pm. Throw in a couple of tolls and ouch! So much for the 60c cab rides of Peru and Bolivia.
