Today Greg and I travelled through southern Virginia into Tennessee, with the Blue Ridge Mountains and then the Appalachian Mountains to our east. With sunny skies and colorful foliage, the drive was rather pleasant.

We are beginning to see more motorhomes on the road heading south like us, and quite a few heading north. Soon after we reached Tennessee, a Prevost motorhome (worth a million dollars or more) passed us and was followed by a semi-tractor with 'Travis Tritt The Storm Tour' mural on its side and back. We became rather excited, was Travis Tritt in the Prevost? Possibly…

We are in a campground tonight, nothing too special about it but it is nice to be able to put out all our slides. I had almost forgotten how wide StarTwo is!

After supper we walked a short distance to a marina that we saw as we drove in. As we walked along the shore, we could see all these moorings that were quite a distance from the water line. The marina's owner explained to us that the lake water is used for power generation. At this time of the year the lake level is about 30 feet lower than in the spring. It doesn't look so great but the bass fishermen like it.

It likely was Travis Tritt's motorhome:

"Frank X. Konigseder, vice president and co-owner of Liberty Coach, has worked with Dean Loucks (artist) over the last two decades on a variety of individual coach commissions including a rendition of an adobe pueblo village on the Prevost XLII Liberty Coach belonging to Country Western musician Randy Travis, a baseball themed design for a Prevost X-series coach purchased by J.W. Henry – a past owner of the Florida Marlins - and a Napa Valley inspired vineyard theme for Brassfield Estate Winery’s Prevost H3-45 Liberty Coach. Given Liberty’s success at attracting celebrity clients – like C&W stars Charlie Daniels, George Jones and Travis Tritt – it seems probable that many more custom paintjobs may be on the way."

And now I know, thanks Heather
