Greg and I left the Clearwater area today, heading north. Now it really feels like we are on our way home. The temperature when we left was 29C and the humidity felt as though it was close to 100%. Very sticky.

So we travelled north, and as we did, the temperature kept dropping. About an hour from our campground we noticed that the sky was a strange color, sort of black/blue. Soon after we heard a weather warning on the radio, a tornado watch was in effect to the south, east, and west of us. Scary. We did experience some rain but luckily no hail or strong winds. When we arrived at our campground near Jacksonville in the mid-afternoon the temperature was only 19C, a difference of 10C in a matter of a few hours.

No pictures today.

Wondering if you are enroute today, Tuesday. Heard tornado warnings on tv for northern Florida. Expect we will find out on your next post. Keep safe.

Yes, the tornado warnings were all around us except north, our direction of travel. Yet the north sky looked so ominous. It was stressful and we were glad when we reached our campground. Then we just experienced rain, lots of rain. So we stayed cozy inside Star and watched TV.
