On Saturday Rebecca and I had a pedicure - nothing like pretty nails to make you feel good!  Later Rich, Michael and I went for a delicious meal at a pizza restaurant with a great wood fire oven & even better desserts!

Later we went to th airport to collect Mum and Meg who have arrived for a week in Singapore.  After a bite to eat we headed off to the Chinese Gardens and had a lovely time wandering around the very pretty displays that are up for the Lantern Festival.

On Sunday we went back to Jurong East swimming complex, this time with Zac as well and had a fun morning zooming down the water slides and cruising around the lazy river.

Mum and Meg arrived in the afternoon and we headed off to Night Safari, a park for nocturnal animals which is a favourite activity of ours when we come to Singapore.   After watching a fire-eating show, we had a nice meal and then joined the throngs of people queuing for the tram.

Once on the tram, we spent a fun 40 minutes on a guided ride that takes you through 7 geographical zones of the world starting in the Himalayan Foothills and ending up in the Asian River forest.  We saw all sorts of cool animals close right beside the track and Mum was even surprised when a huge Malaysian Tapir wandered within arms length past the tram.  That explained why the exhibit before then was empty....although it made us wonder what else might be out wandering!

We had a great time and finished off in our usual fashion with a delicious Ben and Jerrys icecream!
