Des and I went with the kids to the Turtle Farm which was completely rebuilt after the hurricane. There were turtles of all sizes - huge ones you could probably ride on, baby ones and everything in between.
There were 'touch tanks' where we could get in the tanks with the turtles and pick them up. The shells are surprisingly smooth and every one is a different pattern.
We also went snorkelling in an area where there were fish and you could also swim up to a big glass divide and see the sharks they had in an adjoining tank.
It was a unique Cayman expeirence and fun to do.
In the afternoon, Ali, Josh and I took the kayak down to South Sound and Ali rowed us out to a tiny island (walk around it in 90 secs?!) The tricky part of the journey is as you get close to the island and the waves come in from two directions - a slight miscalculation nearly swamped us but some good rowing from Ali got us in safely!
Josh tried to catch some fish and we snorkelled a bit but it was quite rough so there wasn't much going on other than some enormous sea urchins to steer clear of.
It was a fun afternoon and we're all looking forward to tomorrow's adventure when we head to Panama for a few days
