Today, we made a visit to Pisa, Italy. We toured the Baptista ( where children are baptized before entering the church). We also toured the Cathedral (Basillica) Piazza dei Miracoli of Pisa is an amazing display of Romanesque architecture in Italy. It was amazing to see the character and design which was all made by hand. It's mostly made of Marble; the beauty can't be duplicated and it's difficult to put into words. The time, hard work, and dedication it took to build this cathedral is greatly appreciated even hundreds of years later. After leaving the cathedral we of course saw the leaning tower of Pisa! Pisa was a very small town so we did not have much time in this city. There was a very small market for you to buy gifts and souvenirs. Surprisingly, I did not buy anything from this city. I tried the pistachio and caramel gelato mix for the first time. To end the day, the participants got warm and cozy to watch a movie. Tomorrow is another filled day with Seminars and then on to Florence on Tuesday. Ciao!
