Beach Day

The weather has been exceptionally nice here the past couple of days (75 and sunny), so we decided to take advantage of it and go to the beach. We brought a little picnic and had a wonderful, relaxing day. The beach was just packed with people enjoying the sunshine! The funniest thing about the beach is that it is not just for people- it is also for dogs! I'm serious- they were everywhere! Dogs under umbrellas, dogs in the water, dogs laying out, dogs at the restaurants- it was really funny! Aside from that the beach was pretty much the same as the beaches in the US. Oh yeah, tops are optional for women in Europe but the majority of women wore tops, and the ones that didn't probably should have... we'll leave it at that! SO, we had a great day and we hope everyone at home is enjoying their Labor Day weekend too!

I'm glad to hear you are having a wonderful time! We are going to miss you as we head out on Mon. for the cath lab and the 19th as we head back to Iowa City for Dylans second surgery. You are a wonderful nurse and we are so thankful you were there to take care of him. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
