The village of Episkopi is built near the river Kouris.

There are many archaeological remains in the round area revealing that the village was closely associated with the ancient town of Curium.

Later in the early Christian years being the centre of the area and the seat of bishops.

(Episkopos means bishop in Greek).

I am here on this trip to see these archaeological sites with the help of Antony who is kind enough to offer me a lift and accompany me this morning.

I have included some beautiful pictures here in this entry.
