It is a beautiful border area in Greece. Built on the slopes of Trapezitsa Mount, 630 m altitude.

Konitsa is a city of 4.000 inhabitants built according to the traditional style of Epirotic architecture.

Aoos River flows on the right side of the city.  It's an area that includes some of the most beautiful mountains and rivers in Epirus.

Aoos Gorge, Voidomatis River, Mountains Smolikas and Grammos and River Sarantaporos are unique and unfamiliar spectacle that moves every visitor.  Worth visiting!

It is the first time I am up here, but I don’t have a very good memory of the place where we had lunch.

I am going to write when back from my journey more about this.

Konitsa however is famous for its variety of exceptional meat.

We tried lamb cooked in earthen vessel but the owner was very rude and quite expensive.  All of us were disappointed.
