Flag of Antigua and Barbuda  , Saint John,
Thursday, September 4, 1997

We are at St. John and it is 07.00 am.  It is the most "Virgin" out of all the other Virgin Islands .

Our sailing ship stops in the Ocean, and another one comes to take us to the shore.  We get in line and we step in the smaller one which carries us out.

Here we find local small colorful buses, waiting for us.  We have a ride round this beautiful exotic looks like paradise!

We are supposed to have lunch here and then leave back for the ship, to be carried to the Island of Saint Tomas.

The food is ridiculous. We are offered just a plate of fruit salad and some cheese, and we are all very angry.  The leader gets nervous and tries to calm us down and the chef from the kitchen tells us that this is what they eat in this exotic island for lunch, so we should not be demanding. I then go straight to the people of the group and tell them to deny eating this ridiculous dish, and that we are not leaving without a proper meal.

Well, an hour later, and we are indeed enjoying a proper lunch - at least we weren't fooled!!

We have to return back to the ship as soon as we finish lunch, and we are to be carried to the last but most beautiful Island of all.
